Description

The model 1151E ionization smoke detectors use state-of-the-art sensing chambers and are designed to provide open area protection. Model 1151E can only be used with compatible panels. The ability to plug these detectors into a variety of base option extends panel compatibility and application flexibility.

The 1151E has remote LED annunciator capability as well as two integral LED’s to provide visible indication of detector status. Once the detector senses a fire, it latches in alarm and remains in this condition until it is reset by a momentary power interruption.

The 1151E detector includes a tamper resistant feature that prevents removal from the base without the use of a tool. These detector can be tested by activation on internal reed switch with a test magnet. This test simulates smoke in the detector and performs a full check of the operating circuitry.
