Description
The LCR 2 gas
detector is designed and manufactured to offer the user a cost effective
product with professional features, in comparison with the currently
common detectors on the market.
The professional
Catalytic sensor (Pellistor) employed for the flammable Gas detection,
shows an excellent output linearity up to 100 % LEL as well as a
superior repeatability and durability.
Distinguishing
features of the Catalytic detector are: very high stability of the zero
point, linear response, short period, longer lifetime and response
Selectivity.
The LCR 2 can also be equipped with a three electrodes Electrochemical
Cell designed for the detection of the CO (Carbon Monoxide) in
concentrations up 500 ppm (part per million) for car park areas.
The LCR 2 series
detectors provide an Analog 4-20 mA output signal proportional to the
gas being detected. 4 mA corresponds to fresh air (no gas leakage) while
20mA corresponds to 100% LEL (Lower Explosion Limit) for explosive gases
and 500 ppm for CO (Carbon Monoxide).
The LCR 2 gas
detectors are designed to be connected to any control unit or PLC
accepting a 4-20mA input signal.
On the LCR 2
there is a green led placed on the main PCB that will light up when the
detector is powered. The LCR 2 can be provided with two different
enclosures, DUST IP55 or certified Explosion Proof.
